First Glance
 Upon my first glance-
 beauty beseeches my eyes
 and cripples my soul.

Diamonds
 Alas, your beauty-
 your eyes sparkle like diamonds,
 such allure prevails.
 
 Wild Flowers

Lulling battlefields-

alluring wild flowers beaming

betrayed by the sun.

The Leaf

An autumn wind blows-

a crumpled brown leaf afar.

Home is now unknown.

Crickets Chirping

Muggy eventide-

little black crickets chirping

in the darkened woods.

The Forest

Bracing wintertime-

a cold forest radiates

blotting out the sky.

Old Chimney

Nippy winter air-

a light, rustic snow melting

on the old chimney.
