The Agony of Solitude

Solitude
 Walls of solitude-
 separated from the norm.
 Sleep is a close friend.
 
 Invisible
 Invisible soul-
 voices and chatter abound,
 only I’m not there.
 
 Rejection
 The waves of anguish-
 my spirit’s tossed about on
 seas of rejection.
 
 The Valley
 A gloomy valley-
 a warm, intense heart crying,
 alone in sorrow.
 

Stares
 For a wondrous mind-
 an empty vessel of thoughts,
 blank stares are the rule.
 
 Stinger
 Trapped in this foul world-
 I just see the bumblebee.
 They see the stinger.
 
 Rainbow
 Far away region-
 a place of serenity
 ends at the rainbow.
