One Author

2 Timothy 3:16 (NKJV)
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
Revelation 22:18-19 (NKJV)
18 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
One of the biggest struggles I had when I first became a Christian was this:
Can the Bible really be trusted?
The world constantly attacks it. People call it outdated, corrupted, rewritten, or manipulated by men. And honestly, at first, I wrestled with those thoughts too.
But the more I studied Scripture, the more I realized something incredible.
The Bible is not just spiritually powerful—it is unified.
Written across thousands of years.
Written by multiple authors.
Written by kings, shepherds, prophets, fishermen, and physicians.
And yet, it tells one consistent story.
That should not be possible.
Even human stories struggle to remain consistent.
Take something like Star Wars for example. It was created by one central author and still ended up with plot holes, contradictions, and inconsistencies throughout the story.
But the Bible?
Written over centuries by different people from different backgrounds—and yet everything points together with incredible precision.
Why?
Because in reality, there is only one true Author.
God.
The men who wrote Scripture were guided and inspired by Him. They were not creating their own truth—they were recording His.
And once I truly understood that, my confidence in the Bible changed completely.
I realized I was not reading random thoughts from men.
I was reading truth inspired by God Himself.
That realization changed everything for me as a new Christian.
I could trust what the Bible said about:
creation
history
morality
salvation
life
and who God truly is
And because I trusted it, I began building my life upon it.
The Bible taught me how to live.
How to speak.
How to forgive.
How to lead.
How to become a godly husband and father.
Not perfectly.
But faithfully.
That is why Satan attacks the authority of Scripture so aggressively.
Because if people stop trusting the Bible, they stop trusting the God who gave it.
And once truth is removed, people begin creating their own version of morality, purpose, and identity.
But God already gave us truth.
His Word does not shift with culture.
It does not bend with opinion.
And it does not lose authority because the world rejects it.
Scripture is not just information.
It is instruction.
Correction.
Wisdom.
Truth.
And ultimately, it points to Jesus Christ.
The Bible is not held together by coincidence.
It is held together by the One who inspired it.
One Author.
One Truth.
One God.
